Aunt Landa, Alibaba Prepare To Give Back to Thousands of Nigerians with ‘Aunt Landa Market Square Overflow’

Humanitarian Dr Yolanda N. George-David, also known as Aunt Landa and Alibaba, the Aunt Landa MarketSquare fair Chairman have announced plans for another edition of ‘Aunt Landa Market Square’; set to hold on the 25th of February, 2017 at Bibby Crest Event Centre, Ajah, Lagos





The effort is aimed at providing for the needy; especially through the present deplorable economy state, as well as providing job opportunities for hundreds through the vocational training made available at the market square.
Details reveal the market will open to the public, for the less privileged to shop for free as well as acquire free vocational training including wig making, graphics designing, bead making, swimming pool making, cake baking, soap making and more.
Also available at the market square is a medical clinic to provide free professional healthcare to attendees in need of medical attention. Items like clothes, shoes, books, food items, fruits and more are also available for free at the market square.
Aunt Landa hopes this effort will in turn significantly dwindle the crime rate as copious employment opportunities will be available after participants take classes made available through the vocational training.
The previous edition of the market square which held on the 24th of December, 2016 at Festac Town, Lagos witnessed a mammoth crowd, and attendance from some of the biggest industry names, including comedy pioneer Alibaba, popular on-air personality Lolo 1, comedienne Lepacious Bose, MC Abbey, Babah Kay and a host of others.
A number of celebrities will also be in attendance at the upcoming edition including Laolu Gbenjo, Tuale, Igos, Cheche and others.
